My work is that intense moment, the raw energy of human emotions, and the expression of the
impermanence of life. I implement different materials and techniques to capture that energy and
translate it back into a tangible expression. I utilize paper as my main medium for its dualistic
qualities of both strength and fragility along side its ability to change shape. The work has a life
and energy all its own that is existing in the same shared space as the viewer. The impact of the
art is an experience that the viewer can not ignore. The true art of the work lies in the
relationship formed in the moment between the paper and and the person. The memory and
emotions that are brought on by the experience. These are the unwritten, unspoken words that
glide past the blank pages of life.
